In terms of overstable mids, my stable Buzzz is not overstable, just more HSS and LSS than most Buzzzes. It is helpful in wind. It doesn't help when its really windy, but when its kind of gusty in the 5-15mph range. In these situations (frequent here by the coast) if I guess a little off with my angle, or the wind changes mid shot, my other Buzzzes could get taken off line. The more stable one will hold and get me the sure birdie more often. When the Buzzz stops behaving more stable than my others it will go into my backup bin as a straight Buzzz (which gets used more so higher chance of loss). Regarding the second part of your post, on nice days I pretty much use only one disc from each speed range (last night I played a quick round with an Ion, my Glo Buzzz, XXX, P-PD, and Champ Destroyer) for 85%+ of my shots. The others are there for the same reason I explained above about my stable Buzzz. I want to make things as high percentage as possible in the wind. Also there is a ton of water OB on my home courses, so a disc turning when you didn't intend it to often means penalties and lost discs. All that water is another reason for the designed overlap. I could lose one disc from each speed level during a round and still get by. The other reasons I have for the overlap are to have extra discs for practice, if two discs are competing for one spot, or for specific situational advantages.

Discspeed, on DGR I remember reading a lot of posts from you praising the Halo, how come it's not in your bag?

Because he carries only one disc per manufacturer.

Very nice...but, no bag is really complete without a Leopard.

If I had access to more Halos, I may still throw them because they are a good disc. As is, all we have at the store are flat first runs and new ones that are super heavy. I'm sticking with Destroyers right now because it is easy to get good ones and they come in many plastics.

I just don't have any use for one. Not many people throw the Buzzz and the Leopard because they get used for the same things.
