In that case, wizard for the short pin, roc for the long pin, both going straight at it. Sounds like a cool way to remember a local player, I love seeing clubs come together to do things like that.

The Stark County DG Club raised money for a memorial garden (a bench and retaining wall filled with colorful flowers and small shrubs) and last year the club purchased a one of kind Red, White, and Blue powder coated basket with Jesse's picture on the face plate.

I'd don't know the exact length of this hole, but I would assume that it is in the neighborhood of 260' in the short postion and about 20' longer in the longer position. One has to cross water one their drive (eventually) and when the basket is in it's long position the basket is closer to water from the north and the east, instead of just the north when it's in the short position.

This coming weekend, May 15-16th, 2010 we are hosting the 19th annual "Hall of Chains" tournament at Arboretum- Spiker (Canton)/ Lincoln (Massillon) Parks. And will be playing Jesse's favorite hole amongst other favorites of many others. Hope you all can attend.
i remember seeing the picture of the face plate, that was really cool too

Hole of the day 5/9

I know it doesnt say which hole it is, but since I know the course:

Basket 6 looking back at the Tee

Tee Pic

Basket now since it is a memorial hole for Jesse Buryj; might be cool to share. Water behind it is the next hole.

Hole info has 2 different lengths as it is supposed to have alternate pin positions, but; when I have been there it is always at 280' diagonally across the water. Disc diver may not save your disc as even if you see the disc, you gotta get it with your first attempt or the 2' of crud at the bottom will swallow it

I throw my DX Teebirds or Eagle here RHBH, aiming well right but still giving it a chance to go in the basket, but also the water as hitting one of those trees over there will make you roll in.

A floater might actually be a good idea here, even though I often think it just lets you see the disc you cant get out in the middle of the water. At least is wouldnt get swallowed by the crud at the bottom.

This is true. My Fat Max tape measure might help reduce that, but that only goes so far! lol It may stretch 30 ft, but it still bends at about 15 to 20ft. I wouldn't throw directly at it, probably aim right enough to let the fade start over land.

sweet looking hole.

LHBH.

I was thinking ESP Wasp throw out over the water, fading in towards the pin, but that route might be blocked by the tree, meaning wasp would be swimming.

I would most likely decide a low throw with the stalker. thrown slightly left of the pin going in towards the basket, likely passing it a little, but rather be long than short

Time to lay up.. I'm gonna throw my roc toward the dude on the park bench. Then the rock to the basket and putt in with something.

I'd probably throw my Dragon. Not even because of the water...just because at that distance I can throw the dragon with just a touch of hyzer and it will either flip up then turn a bit and come back to the basket or it will turn over a bit much and be safe on land anyway, just putting towards the basket.

I'm assuming the basket is at the end of the row 3 trees. As stated earlier, a shot that hits the branches could be swimming. I may be tempted to thow an OLF or Eagle high and to the right of the first tree and let it fade in behind. It may make birdie difficult, but it will be dry.
