My noob bag, help me out.

Alright, well I have been playing for about a month now, and here is what I have. I am thinking about picking up a ESP flick for my forehands, a lat. 64 XXX for my overhand shots, and a Z Buzzz for a better midrange, lemme know if that would be a good idea or not. I am open to any suggestions so fire away.

Putters

-173 MVP Ion

Midrange
-180 DX Cobra

Drivers
-168 JLS
-173 Champion Beast
-175 Z Avenger SS

i'd say no to the flick, and probably no to the XXX (i dont have experience personally)
unless you want a hook without glide...if you want traveled right farther than it did straight go for it :/

Grab a firebird, predator, or destroyer (probably one of the first 2) for sidearm. You need something slower w/o monster over stability otherwise it'll never carry far
Z or ESP buzzzes are great

have you seen these?

For someone playing one month, you're bordering on too many discs. Keep what you got, and just work on getting your form to the next level at this point. Your disc needs will change as your ability increases, so buying tons of discs up front is like buying a pair of shoes in every color when you're 13...in 6 months it's not going to fit you anyway.

Not a fun answer I know but it's the honest one.

You dont see a problem with his lineup and the fact that he's sidearming one of those?

MDethCKR: I am using sidearms for really any shot that will allow me to throw one, since I prefer my sidearm to my backhand.

JTacoma03: This is probabably true, I might just have to listen to you

Bag looks pretty good for a newbie bag to me.

I really really really like the FLX Drone as an overstable mid. If you're new you're probably getting into some bad spots. This disc is like a boomerang and will get you around trees/bushes like nobody's business (thrown backhand). It's the disc that saves me from myself.

Other than that, maybe a Predator as an overstable driver. Good for forehands, overhands, and as a long meathook for backhands. Basically, a longer Drone.

You don't need anything right now, but if we all went by what we really need we'd all be throwing one disc.

Beast and Avenger SS seems like overlap even though the Avenger SS is slightly more understable. I don't think you'd really need a XXX and a Flick. Either of them would work for forehands and overhands.

As of now this is what I use my drivers for:
Beast: My forehand/overhand shots
SS: My backhand shots
JLS: Don't use it to much, but use it as a backhand/overhand

I assume that beast is brand new (or a month old)? Its going to beat in even more and you won't be able to spin it sidearm without it turning over. You're going to need to add a sidearm disc ie firebird/predator
