05/24/10 Hole of the Day
Anthony Lake DGC in Anthony, KS

Hole #5 - short pin 425' / long pin 495'



No map or basket pic, so I'm assuming that it is around the corner from the trees, on that point. Don't know if that "road" is considered OB or not.

SHORT: I'd probably throw an SOLF to the right and let it fade back into the fairway. I'm assuming I could reach the trees on the left and get around them.

LONG: Same disc, same throw, but aim even further right to leave a way aorund the trees.

What thread did I reply to earlier this morning? Ahhh well...

For some reason the picture doesnt look to me like it would be 425' to the water, but 2D pics can be deceiving.

From eiter Tee, I am just going to throw my Champ Leopard wanting to go nice and controlled and straight to make sure I have a shot around those trees; then deal with the upshot from there; which I think the Core would come out.

Interesting hole. I'm going to throw short and long the same. I want to avoid those trees to the left b/c, like toothyfish said, the basket is likely out on the point. I'll try to flip a Star Valk and then I'd probably approach with a Z Buzzz.

I have the site choose a new pic if I notice the one it chose at midnight is something lame like a tee sign, rock, etc. I removed the 5/24 thread posted earlier since that was no longer the HotD.

Short: Try to get there with an S-PD.

Long: Throw a controlled long hyzer with an S-PD or a Predator to setup for a good approach.
