Nah, it's not uphill. If so, it's *maybe* 5 feet. You'd never notice. The faster the disc, the less control you have, so you really need a slower disc here.

I'm going to jump in with the Buzzz crowd on this one.

I'll still opt for a smooth, gentle Leopard over a Gremlin powerhuck.

This is what I would take if I saw it in person and didnt think I could get the Banshee up there without fading too much. Might be better anyway since you could really finness a Pro Leop up there and it would just glide right to it.

I'm throwing my light champ gazelle on a flex hoping it fades back toward the basket. Looks like a great hole. I hope to play it when i'm in Cinci in August

Seeing this hole on the front page made my heart immediately go pity-thump this morning when I saw it this AM. It is my favorite hole on my favorite course! When the creek is running it just does not get any better beauty-wise, and challenge-wise.....especially for me, a LHBH thrower who maxes out my Roc at about 275'.
It presents me with perfect risk/reward. It is too short not to go for it, but has plenty of punishment for not executing to perfection. Depending on how I would be feeling in tournament play I would either go for it, of just play a safe putter-putter-putter. To go for it I throw a beat up Pro-TL since it will hyzer-flip and then not fade, but if I nick something or outright miss the fairway, I am automatically looking at a 4 or a possible 5 (or even 6) depending on how aggressive/accurate I am on my recovery and how early in the fairway I screwed up. I LOVE that! I love big/fair punishment for my screw-ups and I love the reward/adrenaline high of overcoming that risk on a hole that matches my D. |

That hole had huge risk-reward and was very punitive with both water strokes added and a difficult look from below..ensuring an almost double bogey if you don't nail it. I would think theres more double bogeys than birdies on this one. I'm trying to remember why I went with the Star Eagle.....the uphill added enough to make the hole feel 300ish to me despite it being 276 so I felt driver over mid...at the same time I was terrified of the creek and slope R so I wanted something that I could trust would fight bank once it made the turn.....yeah I admit it I was afraid I'd anny into the stream if I threw a flex that went anny bad....I could handle being fairway L over stream R. You can't tell from the photo but that slope is steeeeep and treacherous!
