Based on feedback from the team, we are tweaking the mold. No discs have gone to testers yet. I'd look for them in a month or so.

For those of you that have thrown both the proto Trek and the Ascent, which grip do you like better?

Trek. Smoother and more consistent release for me.

The Trek is a lot more stable than my Ascent. Not sure why people have an issue with the grip of the Ascent...I would also say that I prefer the regular XLink to the Firm. They both have a spot in the bag! I would say the Trek feels like is has more to hold onto, were as the Ascent has a thinner rim.

I prefer the Ascent.

Steve, I really like the trek grip, getting some great distance out of the trek. I am slightly surprised the ascent had such a sharp edge to begin with, but after my finger got used to the ascent is works really well. I have two firm ascents, and I think I would like the regular x-link ascents better on grip, so Like the trek, but haven't thrown it regularly enough to be sure.

That means it doable, its only a matter time before the stores will have them.
The sooner the better for me, so I can start getting used to it for our 150 class tourney here.

I wonder if softs are possible ?
