Vibram Disc Golf Thread

I am so excited for tomorrow. It is going to be nice (~60) and I will get to throw my Laces finally (spending all weekday daylight hours at work BLOWS)! I am curious to see how mine perform in comparison to the red proto I managed to get a hold of. I am also looking forward to testing out my soft Ibex, Trak and Ascent

each time I play I love my ibex and trak more and more.. improved my score to -2 at stafford woods today. Had a nice 275 ft throw with the ibex.

Just think of how many shots you could shave off if you had a MOBEX!

anyone with a Lace shaved off the flash on the edge? did it affect the flight at all?

I'm starting to come around on the Lace. The first few times I threw it were a bit underwhelming, but it's starting to speak to me.

I feel the same way. I'm falling back in love with the Trak although it will randomly just head off right even though I would swear I threw it straight. It's the only disc I carry that does it but since it's something I'm doing I forgive it.

I really wanted to love my Traks but I'm finding the Ascent is more my style. The Trak just flips over almost every time I throw it. I still keep them in my bag but I just use them more for longer aproach/ hyzer flip shots and not as a 300'+ driver. I'm sure the problem is me and not the disc. I'm just not used to low stability medium speed drivers.

What is the dome on your Traks like? I have a 169 pink medium that is flat and slightly understable as well as a 171 orange medium that is domey and flies like a Teebird.

Yeah I'm loving the ibex. I'm trying to think what I want to get next. I don't have the arm for high speed drivers but frankly I prefer the smaller rim drivers anyways....

I'm thinking maybe a Medium Sole + Medium Obex?

or Medium sole + soft sole.

or Medium sole + another ibex?
