Bouncing Roller

I'm not sure what else to call it, but has anyone thrown a similar shot with my Vibram Summit, I throw the disc a little in front of me very hard like a tomahawk, and it rolls a decent distance. Probably only useful to try with Vibram discs (others would get tortured), but has anyone tried this shot successfully?

tl;dr: throw the disc straight into the ground, it rolls. ever tried it/results?

Bouncing roller can go wrong very fast. One wrong bounce and they're headed a different direction.

If the disc your talking about is a putter, I was gettin getting the same affect with my floppy pro rhyno when shooting out-of-trouble rollers. Went pack to the champ rhyno becuase the bounce was killing me.
