HOD 6.30.2010
Danger mentioned it in another thread and I realized that we didn't have a HOD thread started here.
Bohart Ranch X-C Ski Center - Bozeman, MT Hole #2, Par 3 ![]() No info on hole length. The course map shows two tees: ![]() The white tee looks like it is mostly straight with the basket tucked in slightly to the right. The black tee looks like a more severe dogleg right. Until somebody can confirm distances and from which tee the picture was taken, I'm going to take a WAG at this and say that the photo is the black tee with the following for my plan of attack: RHBH White tee: Depending on how it looks, E-Pro Assassin or Star Teebird Black tee: Star Valkyrie thrown hard enough so that it stands up right at the very end of the flight and (hopefully) tucks itself into the grove of trees.

No smokin?! Well; in that case, I am throwing a smoker rage temper tantrum at some point. Probably after i turn too much into the trees on the right.
Im either throwing an XL BH or Banshee FH |

I'm assuming this is a fairly short hole from the map and picture (ie: ~250 feet). I'd flick an S-PD from the white tee. From the black tee (where the picture is from I think) I would flick a XXX at about mid-tree height and let if fade back at the pin.

I get the feeling from the picture/map combo that the picture is from the whites, but having not ever played there I don't know.
Whites: Anny my stalker so that it, hopefully, turns by where those tires tracks in the grass are and floats up the hill to where I think the basket is behind that second batch of trees. I would probably have a short appraoch/long birdie shot is all went well. Black: I assume the black tee is to the right of picture, and since it's more of a hook to the basket, I would RHFH my Orc and try to get around that first stand of trees seen in the picture on the right side. From there I would anny my comet or magnet depending on distance to try and get close to the pin.

Yeah...I can see that too I suppose. Hopefully a local will chime in and set us straight.

I would flick a gold Rapala #5 in the deeper pools...oops, I mean I'd flick a Banshee like Solomon but hopefully only once
