First bag
Right now I'm debating between a GB spider monkey vs. a Fade crunch box. I'm looking for durability, weight, and price right now. In that order. So suggestions for other bags around the same price range and/or which of the previous two to get would be nice. Thanks in advance!

I have a lot of friends who use fade because the price is nice, but it seems like 1 out 5 of them have had bad luck with them. I don't really know about the GB spider monkey.

Crunch boxes are cheap, slick, hold a lot, have a HUGE pocket on the one side and you can fit a huge arse nalgene or sigg or whatever in the drink holder. The putter pocket holds 2 easy and I generally just love this damn bag.
In fact, I love the Crunch Box so much it makes me dislike my FADE Tourney Bag because the tourney has such small pockets in comparison. I use my Crunch Box most of the time, but right now I need to carry more water in the summer heat so I'm begrudgingly using my Tourney. \/\/

I can't recommend the Fade Crunch more highly than Will. Everything he said plus mine is brown.

I have a Fade Crunch as well. A very nice bag for the money and lightweight. Like most premium bags, they cost more, weigh more, but are much more durable. Think about your usage.
IMO, you will always have a use for a small, lightweight bag. Great for casual rounds, short courses, and when fatigue can be an issue (multi round days/weekends) If need be, consider adding a more durable larger tourney-type bag down the road.
