Hole of the Day 7.24.10

Legacy Park
Lee's Summit, MO
Hole #13
Short; 350' Par 3
Long; 360' Par 3

This is a multiple basket hole. The basket that is visible appears to be the short, with the long being pretty much to the left of it, closer to the sidewalk(this is based on the course map). Sign is not visible in pictures.

Both short and long;

Star Wraith to the gap on the right, about 85% power. The shot appears downhill, so I would use the little extra air time to let it fade back in towards the basket.

I think I'd be throwing my slightly seasoned DX Eagle.

Rhbh cut wraith at leafy tree for short lil high for further left. Maybe a fh or straighter line if looked at it better.

i see 3 potential shots... (Hard tell exact ranges of the trees however)
1) forehand through the gap on the left side. (RHFH)
2) Super big hyzer bomb over everything on the right side (RHBH)
3) Possibly a very pretty and dramatic "s" straight down the middle. Passing tree on either side depending on the line. (Probably too short on either line, but it's worth looking at.)

I want to say Eagle, but it's hard to tell how far out the trees on the right are. They might come into play requiring a shorter drive. But I'm still thinking Eagle, I may aim it up a bit to get a big fade back into the open area, leaving a longer but clear putt.

Why I used the word "basket" in the picture caption, I'll never know (in fact, I'm going to change them to "pin" when I'm done here, but its actually a single basket hole with multiple positions. That white "stick" (which is actually a PVC pipe) you see to the left of the basket is the alternate placement.
