Hole of the Day: 07-25-10

Fox River Park - Grey Fox
Silver Lake, WI

Hole #10 - 279ft
According to the course map, there is also a short tee at 219' (Rec/Family) but the hole info states 279 and I assume that is this picture, so let's play from the 279.

I don't see the basket in this pic, I assume your drive must clear the "rough" as shown and may have to get through one of the gaps in the group of trees at the end of the fairway. The bigger one in the center of the pic seems to make sense, but I can't prove it.

At 279ft, it's a Roc for me, just not exactly sure of how and where I'm throwing it.

i'm guessing the basket is to the left away from the cage, i would have to be standing there to decide what to throw on this one

I'm guessing the basket's in that clearing on the left. If it is to the right in that clearing, I'm throwing a Buzzz. if it's the left, Wasp.

The course map is actually showing there to be two baskets, not two tees, and the Fox River page says no to multiple pins and yes to multiple baskets.

The basket clears the gap then goes 45 degrees left.

Might actually play a CryZtal Buzzz around a gap to the left and just let it turn to where the basket might be. If that line looks too tight I'd probably just make a low, 80% throw with my star Wraith

Good catch! I took a second look and that does make sense now. Serves me right for posting before that second cup of coffee.

So the short basket I imagine is short of the group of trees and the long basket is through it, as you said.
