I'm mad at Buckhorn #10...any Raleigh disc divers?

So I'm out at Buckhorn (Raleigh, NC) today, and after slicing my hand on some cat tail leaves, I get to hole 10. Throw my Avenger SS from the am tee, and distracted by the damn cut, end up with a ****ty late release.
Off it shoots, nice a straight like it's supposed to. Instead of towards the hole, right between two tree trunks (why can't you hit a tree when you need it) and out into the water. Kerplunk.
So. If any disc dredgers are out there sometime, I'd be grateful (emotionally and monetarily) for my first disc back...It's a green ESP Avenger SS with a big 'ol radiation symbol on the underside. Gimme a call, you'll have my number.

Sorry, just wanted to vent somewhere.

I'm seriously contemplating find someone to borrow a canoe or kayak or fishing boat from....or hell, I'd do it with an inflatable dinghy, except there are lily pads ALL over...though it's possible it even sat down on top of some of them...I don't know...couldn't see with all the damn cat tail growth...I wonder how deep it is........waders...?
Hmmm...40 bucks for cheap chest waders...bet there's lots of discs out there this time of year...

I just played that hole last Sunday. Our foursome lost two discs amongst us. How far out into the water did it go?

Just wondering why you would throw a disc that means so much to you, any where near water?

I'm not overly sentimental about it. Just a bit sad. Threw it cause I knew how it'd go as opposed to the new discs I had with me that I was tryin out. Also, I've stayed outta that water every time i've been there till now

From the look of the line, I don't think it could have gone more than 20-30 feet from the shore. Just those damn reeds kept me from seeing. It was a perfect straight shot through the tree, so I could probably walk from the tee straight to wherever it is...those waders are lookin better and better....You know how many people lose discs in that water...

it's maybe 15 feet deep in the middle of that inlet, around those cat-tails you're looking at 3-5 feet deep...i've got a couple in there, you'll have my number if you find 'em, but if you find you can keep 'em...that course is awesome!

My question is...

Why are you throwing an avenger ss on a hole that is only 216 feet.

Hole 10 short is my least favorite hole on that course though.
