HoD 8.16.2010

Ellison Park - Rochester, NY

Hole #4

387' Par 3

From the tee:

No other pictures available, but the course map shows the basket being straight ahead of the tee:

The aerial map seems to indicate the same with a bit of trees to the right of the tee and a few to the left on the approach.

RHBH - Plenty of room here to hyzer flip a Star Valk and bomb it down the fairway. Probably try to finish it off with an R-Pro Aviar.

If I'm seeing it right, the basket is to the right of the pair of trees straight ahead. That lone tree on the right could spoil a big drive out to the right, plus there are a few guardians to the right of the basket.

I'd likely go with a seasoned DX Teebird, be a bit short, but could get a better "straight at it" shot off of a dirt tee. I may be tempted to try my beat-in Pro Destroyer on a slight hyzer flip and let it turn towards the pin.

Champ Katana, swing it wide
or
ESP Nuke if I want the straighter angle

but at this distance I'm thinking the Katana will get me to the basket with less effort and greater control

Man I hope they do something with those tee pads before Worlds 2011. I remember some of them being 6-12" deep and rutted. With any rain, they are just giant mud puddles.

BH with a flippy star destroyer or a FH with a beat XG Boss depending on the wind.

Roller with either a beat Eagle or a beat Warrior, or something like that.

Edit: Unless the grass hasn't been cut in a while. Then I'm throwing an Eagle RHBH.
