Hyzer Flip Question?

i might've stumbled onto the hyzer flip today by accident. i released it on a hyzer angle but throw it pretty hard and it will roll back straight. i was pushing my Core 350' and Gazelle and Teebird 375-380' DEAD straight.. but my predator was going maybe 300 probably less.. so that brings me to my question

do overstable discs not hyzer flip, or do i not have the arm yet to flip it??

EDIT: was that even a hyzer flip?

Predators are overpretty stable for most people. And hyzer flips are done with understable discs

gotta grasp a discs high and low speed stability. if youre getting a core out to 350, and birds out to 380, pick up a katana or a light nuke or a destroyer, depending on your style. if you can learn how to throw wider-rimmed discs, youll tack on an additional 10% or so (if your numbers are accurate).

Hyzer flip is usually obtained with a understable-stable disc. Only maniacs can Hyzer flip a Predator 165+. And I'm no maniac..

Why would you even want to hyzer flip an overstable disc (assuming it's even possible)? Wouldn't a flex shot work just as well or better?

the more overstable the disc, the more stank you have to put on it to get it to flip up (unless of course it's a beat up overstable disc). You'd need a hell of an arm to flip an overstable disc. Not many have it.

overstable discs are hard to flip.

for me...it's destroyers wraiths and valks that i'll flip.
