Dave Feldberg - Disc Golf Throwing Techniques

I was reading another thread that mentioned that the University of Oregon had a disc golf class. So I did a search on the U of O site and, sure enough, I found some information on it, here.

I also came across this article, Disc Golf Throwing Techniques, by the instructor of the disc golf class, one Dave Feldberg. I thought I'd share it with you guys, hopefully you'll find some good information like I did.

That is fun, and here is my favorite quote:

“The Finish”

"The finish is important because once you have thrusted all your weight forward onto your front leg you will need to swing you other leg around so that you can catch your balance. If you don’t finish you will probably fall on you face. See how he swings his foot around just off the ground and puts it in front of himself to catch himself. It is like a dance move and will take some practice."
