FLX help

Just got a misprint deal from discraft with a few FLX discs, never felt one before since i'm mostly an innova guy but am starting to branch out to fill holes i haven't been able to fill yet.

Anyways i'm curious what this FLX is all about, any benefits? difference from regular plastics?

Any other info would be appreciated as well

thanks

FLX is great for cold weather, and heavily wooded courses. It'll hit a tree, and just drop right there for the most part. Harder plastics tend to bounce, and will get slippery when they're cold. I know a lot of people that don't like it, myself included (I also live in Vegas, where it never snows), but it does have its benefits.

well, my only experience is with a flx surge. it's my longest driver and i really like it. the flx plastic is awesomely flexy and grippy. it's also really durable, as far as i've been able to tell my surge hasn't lost any of it's stability and it's been beat around pretty good.

It's like a gummier, flexier ESP with less glide. Like drickanderson said, it's extremely handy in wet/cold or rocky/wooded conditions.

flx is one of my favorite plastics. it has a rubbery quality that seems to make it invincible against trees. i've bashed my flx discs into trees at speed and never taken a chip out of them. they also give consistent grip whether your hands are sweaty and grippy or cold and slippery. i carry and throw the surge, predator, buzzz, and drone in flx plastic.

I like my flx drone. I have a predicate, which I'm still not decent at throwing. I have a flx surge on the way. We'll see how that works out.

Durable, grippy, holds it's stability well enough...not sure why people hate on it. I love it, and an FLX Buzz is my go to disc in the winter.

Thumbs down from me. I prefer stiff plastic. Plus, none of the molds, excluding challengers, come in flx.
