Spontaneous Weekend Trip
Looking for an area of the NE part of the country within a 5-8 hour drive of my hometown, Warren OH to come play for the weekend. I'll be arriving Friday night to a hotel and waking up early on Saturday and Sunday to play as many rounds at as many courses as I can.

Anyone have any suggestions? I could probably drive down to Cincy/Dayton, maybe over to Chicago to have a look around that treasure trove of courses.

Any suggestions are welcome. If anyone wants to be my guide for the weekend, PM me. I'm down for doing quite a bit this weekend.

sheeit, you shoulda come up to west michigan. you want a veritable bounty of awesome courses, Flip City, Whitehall, all four in Ludington, Branstrom, Shore Acres... dude, you're missing out...

This weekend was awesome. Hit 7 courses in 2 days and didn't run through them in order to get the full WOW effect from each of them. I'll post details tomorrow, I'm super super tired at this point .

I live in Chicago and have played a BUNCH of courses around here but the Lehigh Valley in Pennsylvania does have some serious hotspots that Chicagoland area can't compete with.. You should Smooth that area out there Sailor.
