Heading to Chattanooga, TN

Well, we're heading to Chattanooga for some disc golf/drinking/haunted cave action. I plan on going to the Sinks (the only 18 hole I know of in Chatty). There are quite a few 9 holes with 2 disc ratings but they all look the same. Any suggestions on which courses will make the best of my time?

Well beside The Sinks, there's a nice 18 hole at Cloudland Canyon State park. 5 to get in the park, 2 to play. It's about a 20 minute drive from the Haunted caverns.

Also might want to check out Shepherd as it is The Sinks little sister course and is in Chatt.

The "Sinks" is the only course outside Cali/Nev I have played. I loved it. You wo'nt go wrong playing there. Bring you A game for tight tunnel shots.

Of course you're going to play the Sinks, and Shepherd road is also a good choice. Cloudland Canyon is great but it all depends on how far from Chattanooga you're willing to drive. Heritage Point in Dalton is great as well, but it's also a little out of the way. The Sinks is probably the only course you'll play in Chattanooga that is really the "bees knees" though.

We're really lacking that wide open championship distance course. The Sinks is definitely an elite wooded course though.

I'm guessing you're heading down from Nashville, but Athens, TN has a new 9 hole course that is a nice challenge. 6 holes out in the open (more or less) with the final 3 in the woods, (EXTREMELY challenging.)

But yeah, the Sinks is the deal.

Doesn't the course in Athens have multiple tees and baskets on every hole? If so, you could easily throw 18 there. Also, aren't they planning on adding another 9 with the same format?

We thought Cloud Canyon was too far from where we were but on second thought it probably wasn't... Oh well, next time.
