i am biased, only have thrown the stalker. although from what i know about the avenger ss they wouldnt really seem like comparable discs.

They are two entirley different discs, the stalker is a stable fairway driver, the A-SS is an understable distance driver.

I voted for the Avenger SS -- I like mine. It flies very straight and is quite controllable. I like my Stalker, although (as said above) these two are very different discs. You will definitely can get more distance out of an Avenger SS -- the Stalker will be more for shorter drives where you need more control and precision in your toss. I honestly used my Stalker more for a mid-range disc than as a driver. All-in-all, I think the Avenger SS is a great driver, especially for weaker throwers as myself.

flx plastic is lifeless and weak, it absorbs too much energy to fly well.

I hated FLX. Now... I'm quite fond of it. I actually just traded my ZA-SS for FLXA-SS.
