Quad Cities Area. My parents live on a farm 20 from davenport. So I think all the surrounding areas that are not cities are concidered part of the QCA. I cant wait to see the new courses. Do you know what the new niner is going to be called or where I can find info on it?

^^^^That's just silly. You could put "area" after anywhere that's near anywhere else. I haven't been there in a while, but the Quad Cities site was pretty darn good.

The A might be silly, but that is what they called it groing up. If my memory serves me correct that is what they would say on the local news. It wasnt something my dad made up.

I never really thought about it till now. I didnt know that wasnt common knowledge. Kind of like when I moved to virginia and all the crazy's out here were calling stocking caps tobogins. I tried to tell them that was a long wooden sled for multiple people, but they wouldnt listen.

Is clintons course pretty good?

yeah clinton's course is good...a bit hard to follow the first time thru, and unfortunately a bit neglected. Don't listen to paul...the a in qca is fine and totally acceptable. He's just being the 'a' in ahole

If you really want the scoop on new courses in the qca, go to iron lion disc golf supply in moline and ask chase about it, and while you're at it, support the local scene by buying some stuff from him<----shameless plug

Iron Lion is a good store. They do alot for the dg scene around there. My family shops around there, hoping they picked me up something for Christmas.

We just call it the Fox Valley. Perhaps I should add area; so peeps don't get confused. KC was speaking of Credit this fall, when we met up with him; but, I don't remember specifics. He, and the other designers in that area, do great designs, so I would expect the same at Credit. Clinton is quite difficult to navigate your first time through; but, is a quality course. Even to find your way to the course; once inside the park is fairly tough. If you stop in to see Chase, mention these things to him. Perhaps he'll mention to KC and get a little fire back under those guys. They seem to have run out of gas concerning Clinton.

Paul do you know any thing about the courses near stevens point? My family goes to the U.P. of Mich every year and stops there for the night. Do you have any insiders info on the courses in that area of the state. We played a small 9er on a lake or river in stevens point and also the course that is alot of pines (I think yulga).
