@BrotherDave
Thanks been doing the "fakegrip" drills for the last few days, hoping they will help my grip and snap. Will try that technique using disc graphics.

Thanks.

Is this a general average or a headwind average? B/c if it's just a general ave. you should probably look into discing down and away from all these drivers except the Xpress and get something slower. None of those discs you listed are naturally overstable except the Flick, the rest are stable to understable and therefore would not perform predictably in a strong headwind. I'd advise getting something like a Banshee, EXP1, Whippet, or Viper or some other slow, overstable driver.

The guy that got me started playing, that's been playing inconsistently for almost 2 years now, made my day the other day when he said man I'm just going to sit back and enjoy that drive for a bit when I teed off before him.

Thanks in advance
A Comet in X plastic is one of the most OAT intolerant discs around, but any Comet will do nicely for this. Generally, any neutral stable mid and/or putter will work great for form problems (Fuse, Aurora MS, Coyote, MD2, Ontario Roc, beat to hell Rancho Roc, Aviar, Magic, APX, Magnet, etc). Stable to understable drivers like Leopards are nice to mix in too so that you'll be punished for throwing nose up too much (mids and putters are more tolerant of nose up throws).

thanks for the list, been looking at getting a magic and an test driving a ridge currently. I'm liking the ridge but not sure if it's a tattle tell on OAT or not. I nicked chains on a short 207' hole Saturday with it. I do seem to be throwing it to the left side of the basket for some reason which makes for more chain-outs but that's just needing to practice with it vs the soft magnet/money putters I've been using. I'm trying out the ridge as I feel I need a putter with a thicker rim to be comfortable in my hand. I just don't feel like I'm gripping the thin rimmed putters well, especially off the tee.

Another thing I'd look into for checking for OAT is a superclass disc. An ultrastar, a zephyr, giant lids like that will turn and burn with the tiniest bit of OAT. I keep one to toss before rounds to make sure my throws are clean.

yes, more weight does make a disc fight wind better,

it might not always be enough, but a heavier disc will always resist wind better than a lighter one in the same condition.

Now lookit here son, if you are using a beast for headwinds...are you listening, boy, you shouldn't be throwing a beast. Weight does help...now pay attention when I talking to you boy, but it's typically more related to OAT. Now here's some reading material for you, I expect a 3 page report by Friday.

Overstable discs tend to mask OAT. The Ridge is specifically more overstable than stable so it isn't great to clean up a throw. However a Summit and Comet are awesome for those purposes. I get the same flight out of my Summit that i do out of my Comet, only the comet goes farther...

Also, don't be afraid to carry two putters. Having the ridge for driving and approach with the soft magnet for putting wouldn't be a abad combo at all, In fact it would seem rather nice.

@BrotherDave
Went to throw a "disc down" batch of slower discs, Valk, Roc....
This is an evil and disheartening process...
I hate you BrotherDave.

Any ideas on why the huge Right turn and nosedive roller now?

Think its serious form issues when trying to reach out to the longer yardage, grrrrrr.
