Just a little FYI, there's a rumor of a few disc golf hall of famers meeting at Eastway Park on New Year's Day for a round. I just figured out today that I'm not heading south to Florida for New Year's and I should be around. Let me know what you have in mind and I should be able to meet you for a round or two.

So as far as weather.com is saying (and they've been spot on for every road trip I've planned this year) Charlotte will be clear the first two days and cloudy the second two days I'm there with no mention of rain.

I changed my motel location as there wasn't any wireless internet there:
131 Red Roof Drive
I-77 at Nations Ford Road, Exit #4
Charlotte, NC, 28217

I got the room with wireless internet so I could bring my HDTV and my Xbox with me. If any of you guys have a system and want to link or come over and watch Netflix or anything that'd be cool.

Also, what is happening New Year's Eve in Charlotte? I know there's probably a TON, but if you guys know of any good music happening or fireworks or any good places to eat, I would definitely be up for recommendations.
