IIRC, glow in the dark material is a kind of plastic. It can be powdered, but it's not soluble in any liquids, so it can't dissovle, which is what lets dyes transport into plastics...

no because both the ions i have are like that and all the ones i have seen people throwing. i think its the older molds but idk. i like it though, better feel in my hand with the concave verses the dome

Only one of my mediums has a totally flat dome, all the others are more or less concave, my black one being most extreme example, very close to the one pictured. Hasn't affected the flight though.

Looks like they are releasing some new colors. On their fbook they show a Red, gold and light purple/blue
