A couple of my FR Vectors whistled. In fact I'm pretty sure I was the first person in the entire universe to notice the phenomenon. Lifetime accomplishment, my family is pretty proud.

How noticeable is the bead on the Vector? I switched to the Pain because I prefer beadless mids, but am curious to try more MVP stuff. I didn't get along with the Axis.

Pretty big....Roc big. You're going to have a really hard time finding an overstable mid that doesn't have a bead.

Yeah, that is what I was suspecting. It's why I like the Pain so much. Thanks for the quick response!

While the bead is big, I don't think it is as noticeable as on other mids. I couldn't get a clean release with a roc or wasp, but I do fine with the Vector. I don't know if that is from the way the bead is or not, but I can't think of a headless mid that I have had problem with.

I only have a couple throws with the vector, but I don't notice the bead. I am used to Rocs though (I took out my last Roc from my bag yesterday, first time since I started playing that I do not have a Roc in the bag), and I love the Axis (my new favorite disc, it booted 2/3 Rocs from the bag, the vector booted the third).

To me, it looks like they moved the over old slightly up the bead on the vector in comparison to the axis. So the vector has a much more prominent bead then the axis.

This is almost right. You're suggesting the same wing, just put at a different height, where it's really a different wing that just doesn't go down quite as far as the other.

It's obviously not the same wing. I was just trying to describe the bead to him in relation to a disc he apparently has had his hands on
