Just bsin

Don't really know if anyone cares but I thougth it was a pretty cool occurance.
I'm playing down in Florida in the Jacksonville open and I thought I'd practice the ctp inbetween rounds. I pick up all my discs and I see an orange groove sitting there. I pick it up after I ask everyone around if it's theirs. It says "KC 4297" on it so I walk on and play another hole.
After a min or so I start to wonder who this KC is... It's gotta be someone that's been playing a while 4297 is way back there.
With the help of google I set out to find Ken Climo. He was on the first card with a couple others so they were at hole 1. I give it to him, shoot the **** and head on my merry way. Completly usless story, I know but oh well. I was almost wishing he would give it to me! ha, he gets hundreds of them for free.
Well, not completly useless, I did win the ctp and came out with a bunch of sweet discs and some clothing.
Thanks karma.

That's cool. Did he at least thank you and ask you where you found it?

He knew where he lost it, said something about trying some two finger throw. Btw he killed it, I think he won by 8 strokes and there were some good guys there.

Am I seeing things, or does that flight rating on the disc suggest that the Grove is a faster Valkyrie?

First of all, Midnightbiker, where have you been? Yes, the flight characteristics of the Groove suggest that it is a faster Valk. Most people just call it a less overstable Boss.

Second, what a super cool thing to have happen, picking up a disc that belongs to Ken Climo!?!?! I have heard that he is super nice and all and a great ambassador for the sport.
