Sharp pain in my hand

Sometimes when I try to throw a disc hard, I'll get a sharp pain that shoots into my hand. Any idea what could be the cause of this?

Mainly my fingers. I have a feeling it has a lot to do with not being warmed up enough, but I'm not sure. It hasn't happened in a while, but I think it was because I wouldn't control my hand when I was throwing. When I whipped my arm, it would snap my hand real quick.

I often get a burning pain in my throwing hand and arm, more hand though. Usually on the first couple drives in colder weather. Has always happened, so I have assume amputation was not going to be necessary.

I sometimes get a sharp pain in the palm/hand when it's cold and not warmed up, and then it goes away after warmed up. Other times I get hand pain is when my wrist is angled down too far from the forearm or gripping too tight.

Sounds like it's just when I'm not warmed up, so that would make sense.

i get pain in my hand when i whip my hand too fast. after a few throws it goes away. i think this is a result from blood rushing into the hand causing the pain. but i am not sure. your not the only one.

This usually happens to me if I haven't played for a while. I get a shock to my wrist as I call it,but once I warm up a bit more the pain goes away.

I get that same pain.
I believe it is from lots of blood rushing to your hand too quickly.
