12 January, 2011: HOD

Lake Shore Park, Ashtabula, OH

Hole 5
Red: 174', par 4
White: 256', par 4
Blue: 316', par 5
Gold: Unknown distance, par 5

Red Tee

White Tee

Blue Tee

The Gold tee seems to be a bit of a mystery, no distance, no pic. From the course map, it looks like the Gold set-up for this hole is actually a long basket, as opposed to another tee.

I can't make out the basket in any of the pics, but it looks like it's dead ahead from the course map. Red, I'm going with a Wizard, White and Blue, a Buzzz, and maybe an Eagle for the Gold basket.

If the map is at all accurate the backer should be directly behind one of those trees. Maybe the one with reddish leaves tom the left a little?? Either way from 177' I am either throwing a short thumber over the tree if there is room on the left, or a nice big hyzer with my Wizard or Cro if I need to take the gap on the right.

I think i'll throw a Comet...just to shape the line between those trees a little better...maybe a voodoo from the closer shots.

For either pin placement:

Red; Magic RHBH right at at
White: Thumbering the Z Pred up and over
Blue: Wish I was good at rolling, but since Im not, I would make sure no one was standing on the white and red tee and throw the Z Pred RHBH on a hyzer looking to get to where the opening in front of the red is.

From the red, I'd go with the Wiz up and out to the right. From the white, a roller to get through that wall of trees unless there's a window somewhere.

From the blue, that's an interesting line and it should be relatively clear since you're shooting over the other tees.

The par seems rather generous, so this could my kinda course! Lots of big trees though, so maybe that's why.

Red: Star Aviar
White: ESP Buzzz
Blue: DX Eagle-X, although I have no idea where the pin is or how I would get it there.
