Complimentary discs for wizard/roc/gaz

I'm looking for either more diverse fairway drivers or maybe I'll dip my toes into distance drivers again, after discing down for the past few months.

I get my wiz out around 200' with ease. Rocs are a little further, no more than 275'. And the gazs max out at just over 300'.

I'm looking for an overstable and an understable option. I do not like champion plastic, however. I'm open to other companies, except maybe discraft. I don't like their plastic for some reason.

Eagle X for overstable-stable and TL for understable.

People have been recommending Champ Banshees for an overstable fairway, but I've never tried it. I have also been liking my Lat64 Striker, I just throw my Eagles more often.

I'd say a Pro Leopard or a GL River for understable and maybe a DX Whippet or DX Banshee for overstable.

eagle x for a versatile fairway that still is moderately stable and a eagle L or leo for the understable area. There's ome good options out there. Just depends on what feels comfortable

All of the discs that you list are great in different stages of wear, so the perfect understable companion for each is a beat-in version of itself.

Banshee is a great overstable complement for the Gazelle, and a powered-down Banshee should cover all of your overstable needs at shorter distances. DX Banshees beat in to short Teebirds, or you can use Champ Banshees for consistent overstability.

Comet or Fuse is a great understable complement for the Roc

Magic is a nice understable complement for the Wizard

All of those discs will break into being understable. I'd just try to force the turnover lines for now, it's good practice. You won't get much more versatile than those three molds until you're throwing the Gazelle in the 350' range, then you'll only get a little more versatile with the Eagle-X.

Getting an overstable driver is a great idea, though. I agree that a Banshee is a good option if you don't want the high end plastics. It's a good option if you do want the high end plastics, too. If you go a notch up in speed the Firebird is good, too and available in different plastics. The Predator is also great but not available in anything but ESP and Z AFAIK.

I think I will go with a whippet-x as far as overstable goes. but garu brought up a good point that i overlooked: i can just beat the gaz until it becomes understable, durr...(palm to face)
