Question Dishwasher safe?

Has anyone ever tried cleaning their discs in the dishwasher? Would this just completely destroy them? Most of my discs are Innova Champion plastic if that makes a difference.

I'm pretty sure you can put them in the dishwasher.

Just do it the old fashioned way and wash them by hand.

the heat from the dishwasher may warp your plastic

I agree, I don't think that I would risk it.

If you do put them in a dishwasher, the chlorine in the dish washing liquid may react with the plastic. I suspect that DX plastic could become brittle.

I've used the dishcwasher on my discs. Mostly star plastic. Cascade powdered detergent. Air dry cycle ( NOT heat dry cycle). Works just fine. I imagine a fellow could toss his discs in the washing machine, too. Kinda speed up the beating in process.
