Nah I paid the same as a current run for mine. Maybe a bit more with shipping. All the old 3rd run opaques tend to be reasonable.

I've only thrown softs, and I like them well enough I don't want to confuse myself by trying regs.

I prefer soft over regular Ions, but at this moment regular over soft Anodes.

It really is personal preference.

I have found that the softs are faster and have more glide so they drop slower and fly farther. The regs are better in the wind and a little easier to range.
