I don't get to talk about the Volt yet, but I'm pretty excited from what I was seeing from the red 176 flat N Axis I picked up yesterday...This disc is how I've wanted my Axis to fly from the beginning...Long, fast, and straight. It did not turn for me at all today, even when I was blasting it flat into a mild headwind, yet when I snapped it flat it had hardly any fade to speak of either. It held any little micro line I put on it as well. I'm not sure if it was just speed or a combination of speed and glide, but this disc was going farther for me with less effort than any Axis I've thrown. I'm going to be working with it some more tomorrow to see if it's a fluke or if I really do have to hunt down a few more like it...Paired with my new flat red N Vector they make almost the perfect combo...and they are both so much faster/longer/lower flying than my protons. MVP is making me very happy with these...I've always loved long/fast mids.

Looks like you started dialing in about halfway. You made their distance potential look effortless. Great Vid, Thanks!

After seeing the video, what's your opinion? What are its pros &cons? What stability/speed ratings would you give it? How does it compare to the vector/axis?

^^ I love watching discs dance in the wind, like on Mike's last throw. I thought he was gonna ace it.

I'd say it's a very useful disc. I was expecting a speed 9 gyro teebird, but there are already many good molds filling a similar role (PD, OLF, Starfire etc.). In calm conditions i'd expect this to be a very straight, point and shoot driver similar to the flat, more neutral Axis.

Pros are superb glide and strong line shaping capabilities, cons are it gets knocked around in the wind a decent bit and the exceptional glide can make it easy to shoot long if I try to power it down for a short shot. Granted many of those holes are mid and putter holes for me, and this was my first day trying it.....

9/6/-1/1 roughly, kinda hard to say with all that wind.
