I hate to say it, but I switched back to my old fave Eclipse Ion a few weeks ago. Talk about an old friend. My putting did sharpen up immediately. Still rocking the Opto Pure for approaches, but the Ion is back in lead putter duty. Also put the N Axis in the bag as well.

It's going to be really nice to have a Proton on the bookend of stability and a couple of Neutrons of different stabilities alongside it.

If you have not grabbed one of the yellow or red 176 flat N Axis you absolutely must...Really special mid for all things line holding.
Funny, the Neutron Vector I have (176) is missing glide completely. I can't seem to get it past 275' no matter what. Just falls out of the sky.

Let's see some seasoned MVP!

Here's my Ion! It's been in the bag since they first came out in eclipse last year. Gyroscopic annies are something that is hard to describe but if you put some snap on an understable Ion it creates a long sweeping, hard turn that screams around corners like it's on rails.

Anyone else beat the crap out of their indestructible discs with the fancy rims?

I posted earlier that the lighter Vectors have a surprising amount of glide...surprising because the Vector is not exactly a glidey disc. There is a pretty big difference between my 176 N Vectors and my 173/174 N Vectors though, with the lighter ones definitely staying in the air longer.

I've been off the MVP kick for a while so this might be a previously answered question, but have they started making any lighter weights yet? I liked the Axis, but at max weight or close to it, it didn't really do much for me. The Volt sounds interesting, but if they are all 175+ then I am probably not going to grab one. Anything in 160-170 range out there in MVP yet?

It seems to me that they are getting the Neutron mids down a few grams from the Protons, but nothing ground breaking yet(I have 173-174 Vectors and Axis that is just a smidge under 176). I have a Volt that is 170g and I've heard there are 168s. I've also heard there will be plenty of Volts at the lighter end to go around.

Thanks. I may buy a couple then if I can get a hold of a few 168's. Would love some 170-172 Axis also if anyone ever sees any.

The published range is 168-175g and Brad at MVP confirmed for me that there were a significant number of Volts at 168 & 169g. I don't think I'm alone in my feeling that weight affects MVP discs less than most others.

The Neutron Vectors are 4-5g lighter than previous releases though.

are the volts going to be available as blanks at release or does that usually not get out until the second run with MVP?
