^^^ "This disc does it all." I should have edited that out, since many putters are capable of the same tasks. I just prefer the Ion, of course.

I do think you'll enjoy this disc though hendryxdisc. If you like the feel of a premium putter, the N Ion is an excellent choice.

I havent felt the new neutron yet but I do have a few premium plastic putters that I like my S-P2. Mike C's videos are very impressive his Neutron Ion test flight video. When he threw the ion on the 305 ft hole over water and over shot the basket I was sold.

I want Neutron with white over-molds. I don't even care if they don't glow in the dark.

I love my eclipse mid-ranges, they seem to perform better for me anyways.

1. Easier to see in shrubs
2. Shows up better on film (at least my camera doesn't pick up on the black over-mold well)
3. Makes the colors pop and look better in my opinion
4. Opens up more dye options, its fun to have colored over-molds

We have soft neutron available, now give us some white over-mold neutrons!

Was also thinking over-molds that are the same color as the core would be cool.

Can't recall where I read it (probably in here somewhere) but it was stated that overmolds wouldn't be colored in that it changed properties of the plastic causing tweaks to how it was bonded with the cores to be necessary on a per color basis, potentially leading to QC issues which they were keen to avoid.

Have you noticed any difference in the durability of the glow overmolds?

Cheers,

K.

Well white would be fine with me, then i can dye it any color.

The white eclipse overmold holds up same as the black overmold for me, it just looks dirty compared to black.

My guess is that they have messed around with a bunch of different tweaks for most of their molds...and just haven't been completely satisfied with the results of it.

I think the only new-ish thing that has been semi-confirmed is sparkle eclipse plastic being tested in a bigger run.

Has MVP considered bringing out a disc in the speed 6-7 category? Something along the lines of a glider cyclone/gazelle.

I know the Volt is considered a fairway driver, but I consider it in the speed 9 or 10 category.
