Thank you discspeed for covering a lot of the information across.
The Vector is indeed going to be an overstable midrange. With our GYRO™ technology on the profile of the Vector, we are hoping that this is going to be our overstable midrange driver. The GYRO™ technology combined with the overstable profile is going to allow this midrange to have a very smooth and clean overstable flight. I understand a beaded overstable midrange is not everyones cup of tea. This first midrange is going to be our starting point of midranges as we continue to design and develope new models in different stabilities. This is partially true. The reason for the Vector being an overstable midrange was this would allow me to have a very good basepoint to work with. As I continue to plan and design, I will be able to work on less stable/non beaded discs. This means we wont be tweaking the Vector, we will be designing for future models. Is the Vector going to have the same curved inner rim as the Ion? Just curious.

If the overmold and the core fit together like the Ion does, then I will bet that it will be curved. I like the curve on the Ion, so I kind of hope it is.

Not quite as dramatic of a curve, only a very small one as the inner rim is shallower. It has a very comfortable inner rim.

So long as it can hold a line, I can hyzer and and anhyzer it to get it to do what I want. Mids are easy to control with a little anhyzer and hyzer.

@discspeed
I always felt that the reason the ION didn't feel as deep was more due to the very low shoulder, but the curved inner rim is definitely a part of the feel. My workhorse mids have always been as neutral and little fading as possible, so unfortunately the Vector probably won't be what I'm looking for. Still, I'll get at least two and sand the bead out of one of them to see what I end up with. =)
