I'm coming from a Lat64 pure and looking for something with a less substantial fade at the very end of the flight. Am I to understand that the eclipse Ion would be a good replacement? Love the pure's flight, just crashes at the end.

I should note that I am a push putter inside the circle and a step-through/spin putter outside.

Probably not. It would depend a lot on how much spin you can put on it. Ions, with enough spin, are extremely straight and have good glide. The problem is, the requisite spin/energy can leave you some big blow-bys if you miss. If you like to laser putts in, you'll probably love the Ion. If not, it gets a little dicey. YMMV

Thanks. Not too comfortable with fast spin putts, so I guess I'll look elsewhere for my ideal putter. Damn...wanted that sexy plastic.

Just grabbed this from the thread regarding the legality of multi-part disc construction -

Personally, I'm highly skeptical.
