Only thing that worries me is the resilience of the outside material to impact when it has a sharper edge like a driver. It's been good on mids and putters, but those are rather blunt compared to a driver.

yeah but I had the back story as I read X number of pages from that thread over there last night

so I thought my post might humour you

interesting point on the sharp edge though
perhaps the overmold could be hardened in some manner...hockey pucks come to mind
