Grats, now you see also why I say the Comet is a low power players Roc. Glad you're figuring stuff out too!

Hmm, I'm not sure that your comet problems are because you have more power. Turning at 250' isn't something they really do in my experience. I can get mine out about 330' with a slight hyzer release

Yeah, I'm going to have to throw it between my knees to get it to do what I need it too...

I may run a comet with rocs. So I don't think the comet will totally come out.

Bag changed quick. But I think it will be this for a while. No really, I do.

Putter
I hate putters... I want to figure out a cure for putter-phelia...
Pro D Rattler - a catch style disc that has more than found a spot in my bag.

Mids
Comet - not sure how many, but it is a nice flippy, disc to turn down on.
Roc - also not sure how many, lovely disc. I might go Roc only...

Fairway
ESP Cyclone - Walled Lake runs only. Lovin it.

Overstable
Beat Z Pink Pred - overstable and utility shots

Understable
New Z Avenger SS - cool disc.

Great for drives, too bouncy for putts. Everyone else seems to putt ok with them besides me though :P

cfair, you have just been trying too many putters. Coming from that same problem I am telling you; pick one and just stay with it. Don't worry about if there might be something better out there because the best one will always be the one you are most familiar with. I went Magic because it helped me with that inside the circle as it doesn't do anything I don't tell it and helps to remind me "It's not the putter, it is me."

I still have a ways to go but since I committed to the Magic last year, I have gone from terrible to pretty decent.

I was sticking with one putter because I was happy with it. Now its more of a feel thing. Its not that "there is a best putter out there" it's that I'm crazy picky about any disc in my bag and I have to be super happy its there. Like Rocs, they always make it back into my bag, no matter what. Now the Cyclone has already done the same thing for a fairway disc as the Rocs do, I'm just so happy it is there and I don't think about any other disc. (Also I think the Pred is in the bag for good as well, beat ones are so stupid nice).

I want a putter like that. Not that its the best, but that it just leaves me in a place where I can look at other discs and say "that is a very fine disc, but I use this" and I don't question my choice.

bah... silly putters...

How about just picking one that flies controllable for you and feels good in your hand?
