I pretty much just want to work on the stencil work before I go and screw up a nice disc I use all the time. I won't mind bleeds on my good ones, but I want it somewhat nice looking.

I was the same way. Just go for it on one of your champ/star discs. Just pick an simple image and go for it. It is really not as hard as you think it is. As far as bleeds I just tipple check for bubbles in multiple light angles before it hits the dye. Good luck!

this was my first one using the right vinyl i had a previous one using just electrical tape

I messed up using contact paper so it bleed a bit. I used my ruger .40 pistol and traced in on the paper, then cut it out and placed the disk on the paper. I'm happy with my first attempt at it, hopefully I have more luck on the next disk

First Dyes
Tried some disc dyes for the very first time last night. I recently purchased 4 unstamped MVP Axes, after going through 3 of them in the past 6 months.

One was lost to a deep and fast moving creek...
Another was inexplicably lost in some brush...
The third was retired last week after I hit an ace with it...

Here are a few pics of my experience.

The two yellow ones with the nuke symbol have glow rims. Seemed appropriate for a radiation symbol.

My first dyes
My first tryes at dyes. Since i have not been able to get RIT or IDYE here in Sweden i have used a coloring agent for leather coloring that works fine on most plastic types.
