These are great early attempts! Love both the watchworks and the escher cube stencils. Very clean execution, the watch coulda been centered a little better but that comes with practice. Looking forward to seeing more stuff from both of you in the future!

Came out good man! Wish I had used that clean of a file, I just cut from the pic I sent you. Keep em coming dude!

Here's mine for comparison. Aside from the outer edge they are pretty similar.

My centering attempts do leave a bit to be desired... I f'ed up a clean piece of vinyl on my first attempt and had to recut/reapply and when the second one wasn't on center I just wasn't in the mood for #3.

I also should have done the inverse like northern disc did, I think it's quite a bit cleaner and the vinyl weeding would have been much easier. I'll attempt it again hen I find the motivation.

I don't know if you've seen the laser centering, it's the only way I do it now.

It's been really fun so far and now I need to buy more plastic so I can do more!

It is the most efficient upgrade I have made to my dyeing process. It just works and saves a TON of headaches.

I went a totally different route wit centering...
0. sharpie a dot on center of stencil
1. Peel off backing.
2. Cut backing in half.
2a.(optional) cut out triangles in middle-ish
3. reapply backing with about 1cm space between them, or with cut-outs (now a square/diamond) around center dot.
4. place on light table, gently place disc (upside down now) onto stencil, dot to disc center. Once aligned (the small contact surface lets you pull off and realign all but the most detailed stencils), press firmly on exposed adhesive areas.
5. Flip.
6. Peel off half of backing, while smoothing with squeegee. Repeat with other half.

This also lets you focus on a smaller application area without having to worry about wrinkling the other half.

Also, I didn't like dealing with the laser, because my OCD demanded a perfectly vertical projection...and it eliminated another random equipment piece.

OK. Been reading and reading and reading....finally got all my supplies ready and cut some vinyl yesterday. Did the two dyes today. I am actually still working on the one that went in the bath first (technically #1) and will post when done...but here is 1A. Bottom stamp S/DS destroyer (was really hoping it all worked out ) and it did!
