So Mulligan...How was your score?

I played there last winter a few times, and it was muddy anyway - it is going to be crazy muddy for a while.

Think it will be dry next month for the tnmnts on the 16th & 17th?

I'm sure it won't be under water at that point, but it will probably be quiet muddy for sometime. We usually get most of rain in March and April.

On another note there are going to be dead fish all over the course, once the water goes down, as well. Those might be gone by then.

I don't know... didn't seem like the amount of rain that dropped the other day would cause this. AND for more rain to be on the way, it looks like Pickerington will be my daily course now...
Someone from the city was down there marking something off in the parking lot with spray paint... wonder what they're up to...

Spraying the parking lot at Griggs?

Yeah Picktown is good and at least not swampy, although some of the paths are getting bad already, but the course is a little too open for me, once of the main reasons Griggs isn't at the top of my list either. I went to Hoover yesterday, wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but it's pretty wide open right now with the 10-14 being out, but it was still a nice couple rounds. (I have made my own little 18 hole loop with what's there.) I'm sure Alum Creek is under water pretty bad right now as well, especially 4, 6 and 9 since they are always pretty swampy. Damn I can't wait until it dries out.

Alum wasn't as bad last weekend as Hoover was for me...
I really like Pickerington... I'm able to work on my form there and the course is interesting.
Played OSU yesterday and those parking lots ate up my discs. Its too crowded there...

They were marking the parking lot, outlining areas in spray paint.
No idea what for, especially considering there is a massive wall of water feet away from where they were marking.

Last I head they were planning on putting in a water treatment facility at Griggs. From what I heard they will be removing the first three holes, pretty much ruining the course IMO.

Last couple times I have been to Alum Creek it BAD. Nine was completely underwater, not Griggs-like, but bad. Sucks too, thats probably my favorite course to play.

According to Jay Paul on the Columbus Fliers forum page, those 3 are only coming out temporarily if need be to protect the baskets.
It is something that AEP is doing over there.
They have been told they will be done before the tnmt next month.

While AEP seems to be working around the course as best they can, and the water is totally receded... the amount of dog crap land mines is getting ridiculous.
My disc almost landed in two today and I stepped over several others. And I'm talking WELL out in the middle of fairways here.

Those Upper Arlington folks love to let their dogs run loose and completely ignore nearly everything they are doing.
Anyone ever call anyone out on this?
Today, one guy's dog was easily a good 200yrds behind him and he was paying no attention at all.
I don't know, I have a dog, and I'd never behave like some of these folks.
Common courtesy, y'all.

Add to this the 6 or 8 dudes today littering Natty Light cans all over the course around pm, and then the three d-bags playing BALL golf on the DG course around 2 or 3...
SHEESH!
