Hole 4 - Beauty
Hole 5 - Beast (666 ft uphill)
Hole 6 - Bastard (or fatherless if you like. Due to steep slope behind basket that discs will often roll down and into the woods up to 25 ft from pin)

As far as #16 (Freeman Lake), yes, there are plenty of people, myself included , that go in after discs. I'm surprised at how many people leave discs in the lake, only a few feet off the bank. I've found up to 8 in one day, but I've seen others swimmig around bringing handfuls out at a time.

If a hole like that happened to be in Kentucky, it would probably be the punchline in a "you might be a redneck if..." joke...

You said it, that stuff is crazy evil! I've seen it on the sides of the roadways here in Kentucky, but none on the local courses.

Someone upthread mentioned hurricane damage...

We still have hurricane debris, but luckily not so bad that it rendered our courses unplayable.
Much of the work would be considered cosmetic so the city wants no part of that. To their
credit they remove big stuff that we cannot handle. Don't get me wrong... they rock, but the
fallen large trees IN the woods, off the main paths are not something the city readily deals with
so we still have fallen tree issues. Again, we were fortunate it wasn't worse.

A few of us have tried to tackle the work but it isn't an easy task and with very few folks helping
with any consistancy it is quite difficult.

We have a few holes with signatures. The "bridge hole", the "telephone pole hole" and the "p tree" hole.

i knew of 4 and 5, i didnt really think of 6 though. kind of a wierd nickname for a hole, even with the slope.

You might be a redneck if your local disc golf course has a "trailer" hole?

I've played at ERP a number of times, and it really is an interesting hole. I doubt I'll ever birdie it, since the trailers are right in the middle of a normal drive's landing zone. As for Kudzu Corner, last I saw they've done a really good job of cutting back and getting rid of the kudzu. It'll probably be back in a year or two, but if you hire enough hungry goats, you can beat it.
