Did you know?

Years ago I had the opportunity to attend WORLDs...

I went to Nashville, Miami... and then volunteered at Houston Pro Worlds.

The first year I attended, I snuck in thru the wait list. (actually, both AM events)

I had never been to a PDGA event prior to attending Nashville Worlds. (stonehenge was a blast)

Prior to attending... I had volunteered to start the LA OPEN & LA DOUBLES with Toad
(new pdga events at that time) as well as assisting that assmonkey Kernan with
PDGA event reports. (that brainiac could not open an excel spead sheet. whew)

My point is I had accrued PDGA POINTS when I went to WORLDS even tho I had never competed in a PDGA event...

Did you know the PDGA throws you a points bone for volunteerism?
(how it used to be anyway, not sure these days, i am not current)

well its a nice way to compensate. i used to work triatholons and we would get free gear. IE bike shirts, skate covers, helmets, shoes, trophies, whatever wasnt taken by the participants was left to us by the distributors.
