09 course challenge

so as some of you know, my friend Pyloth and I are trying to play and review (and add photos if they're needed) every course in Maine by the end of 2009. We're doing it to help make DGCR an even better resource than it already is (since some of these courses are un-reviewed or have little info or are missing photos), and of course for the fun of it.

In case any of you care to see how we're doing I'll update this once in awhile.

Acker's Acres
All Aboard Disc Golf
BAP Disc Golf
Basket Case Links: The Bad
[s]Basket Case Links: The Good[/s]
Beaver Brook DGC
Boom Field
[s]Burnsboro DGC [/s]
Campbell Highlands DGC
[s]CR Farm Disc Golf [/s]
Cranberry Valley
Creative Recreations
D 'n' D Disc Golf
Dragan Field
Eaton Mtn. Ski Area
Enman Field - Beast
Enman Field - Beauty
Enman Riverside
Forrests Hill DGC
Pleasant Hill DGC - Gold Dragon
Pleasant Hill DGC - Silver Dragon
Quaker Hill Farm Disc Golf
[s]Quarry Run [/s]
Sabattus Disc Golf - Eagle
Sabattus Disc Golf - Hawk
Sabattus Disc Golf - Owl
Skyriders DGC
Woodland Valley - Black Bear
Woodland Valley - The Grizzly

Anyone else want to join in on the 'Play your whole state challenge'? It'll differ state by state, but just think of all the fun rounds you'll get in plus the updates to the course reviews

I've played 42 of the 118 courses in Michigan in my 13 month career. This state is huge... I'd probably have to take a couple of months off of work in order to hit the rest. Other than a large concentration over in the Ann Arbor/Detroit area, everything else is way too spread out... I consider it a success if I can hit two new courses in a day.

With that being said, good luck in hitting all of Maine. I'd love to get up there some day.

hmm... I live in Texas... I think I'll have to pass on that challenge. Not that is wouldn't be fun mind you, but I think if I only played the Houston, Austin, and DFW area courses alone - that would be more than most states have total. Heck just one of those areas has more than many states

two weeks from now i will be finishing off VA and then at the end of june I'll finish MD. Haven't taken pictures at everyone but the one's i like and that are close enough to revisit i'll be taking care of. Think this is a great challenge even if you have to scale it down to your own needs, ie certain areas of the state. Good luck to all

I think I'll try this challenge here in Colorado, the plan is to hit as many of the mountain courses as possible this summer

Without a doubt. I always rather play with someone that knows the course then get lost by myself
