It's a split between pro and star for me. Some discs in pro (like the wraith) are money, but get super flippy after using them as your go-to. Stars, from my perspective, when beaten in fly just like new pros, and last a lot longer.

I don't have a favorite plastic. Just a favorite plastic for particular molds.

i've found that over the months, more champion plastic has been seeping its way into my bag. now i only throw star for mid ranges, otherwise i love champ for its consistency and durability. same with discraft's z plastic; esp is great but i tend to pick z in the end.

speed 7 or slower = DX
faster than 7 = champion

since i throw many more shots with speed 7 or slower discs than their faster brethren, i voted DX.

this

although I do throw an even mix of base and premium

Magnet: Pro D
Wizard: S
Rocs: DX (no other way then DX)
Comet: X or Z
Eagles: DX, Champ
Banshee: Champ

so I guess more than half of my bag is base plastic

It somewhat depends on the disc, but I throw more Star than the rest, so I went with Star.

I prefer Champion for durability, but it might not make much sense I feel like the disc is in the most natural way in DX
