Help a discgolfer who lost everything in Joplin, MO

I received a telephone call today from a great friend, Russ Burns of Disc Golf Monkey, reaching for help for a disc golfer in Joplin, Missouri. Russ, who is like a brother, was quite distraught to tell me that disc golfer, Pat Wooley(PDGA #24059) lost everything. Mother Nature’s fury unleashed hell on Joplin and Pat survived, while others were not so fortunate.

Pat, a former avid trader on DiscGolfReview(readysetstab) and newcomer to the Pro scene in the Midwest needs our help. I am asking you for some help. If you or your club can spare an extra 2x shirt or some plastic….Pat would be muchly appreciated. Pat throws heavy wizards, heavy teebirds and leopards, and the most overstable of plastics like spirits, extremes, firebirds, max and xcalibers.

If you can help, please let me know at talkdiscgolf@gmail.com and I’ll pass along an address where you can send items to.

I personally thank anyone and everyone who can help out.

Mike & the TALKdg staff.

I have meet you. I do not count it on my list of members because I ran up to you in the middle of a tourney bought a disc from you and ran off.

I will send some shirts, I have some discs, but what I have are not really his style. If you think of anything else I can shove in the box let me know. clothes for family, toys/discs for kids, ect.

Yea, this is a better idea. He can pic and choose what he wants.
He might like a stiffer Wizard or a SSS. I would rather wait till you get this set up Mike then we can all donate a few bucks.

I've got a new Champ Leopard I would donate to the cause.

And maybe even a 2x shirt, too.

I have quite a bit of extra plastic laying around, I'll throw a wizard his way - I have nothing else you listed, butif you have any other disc ideas I might be able to help. I can only imagine what it would be like to lose everything, my sincere solace, pm me an address.

I was bummed when I thought I lost my bag, but I had 50 extras to replace them with and an extra bag. This has to be devastating.

I am not trying to advertise for BCR, but BCR123PSU is selling 2x shirts, we could send him the paypal and he could send a box of 2x shirts. I will buy 2 if anyone wants to join me in filling the box.

Oh! also, do you know if he played the ice bowl last winter in Joplin? I might have met him there, either way I'm in to help him out.
