Disc Golf in the USA Today

Page 3D of today's USA today shows a family playing disc golf and describes is as a great family activity. Pretty cool if you ask me

Before I saw the article I saw a little picture in the top corner of that section ofthe paper showing a father and daughter with a disc flying. I immediately said "holy crap, that's a disc, not a frisbee". Sure enough there was a picture of the basket in the article.

oh sweet so its an actual article.. i was kinda thinking it was just a spring/summer advertisement kinda thing..might have to go scoop one up here on my lunch break

It's certainly better than the articles that describe it as a hippy stoner sport. Maybe we could get then to put a correction where they list mistakes in articles by calling it disc golf. It would've been a great opportunity to mention this site too as a reference for where to find your local disc golf course.
