I'm sure disc dyers are a small portion of their clientele but I'm sure it will drop a bit, especially if the larger companies like Huklab LSD and DD use and now have to change sources..

I'd never even heard of people buying and using Rit Dye before disc golf lol. It would be interesting to see their sales.

I know when I ordered the batch of neon and added the aquamarine.. from the factory it was still an 06 run and old packaging on the aquamarine.. the industrial stuff just had a sticker with the color, no batch info

This information of formula change started out on FB, in a wall post I made to them (they first denied that there was any change). The conversation has moved to a wall post Trozzle made on thier page. The more dyers they hear from, the better off we may be. They are quite aware of this market, they were previously unaware of.

I believe thier 'availiability of some substances' really means cost of substances. Substances don't just dissapear from earth. With a little prodding, nudging, and luck MAYBE Rit could start producing dye specifically for polycarbs. If they don't... someone else will.

I gave my opinion on trozzle's post.. be interesting to hear what they say, until then, time to go hit up a couple more walmarts.. I think I just need more fuschia and black @ this point, maybe if they have any scarlet.. hmmm

my michaels and joanns don't have anything earlier than xxx10, and most of it is pretty late 10. I did pick up a couple 04710 scarlets and 17510 blacks that are supposed to be good

It will definately be interesting for them to see the boost because of the hoarding and then flat line. Im still working my way into this whole dyeing thing but this really sucks. It looks like I chose a bad time to start.
