To me this disc represents the culmination of everything MVP has learned to date. The Buzzz was both Chad R and my favorite disc...Not just favorite mid, but favorite disc. Ever since the Ion was first pressed I know this disc was in the back of Chad's mind. The Vector was even put out first so that any learning curves would be had during it's molding and NOT the Axis. MVP is going to make a lot of other discs, but I'm pretty sure that this one is Chad's baby...And I've never heard such excitement in his voice after testing a disc. I know I will only be waiting a few more days to throw my tester, but every minute is killing me.
Interesting, I had always thought the axis was going to be more comet-like. Interesting to think it may be more buzzz-like instead.

Dad-DEE! I want a Squirrel!

I have had the chance to glance upon your discs and I am in awe of their expediency to Birdieville...

If it's inspired by the Buzzz, is it going to be flatter than the Vector? That was one of my gripes about the Vector. I got a really domey one when they were first released. Please post a pic of the profile or at least let us know it came out flat topped.

Sure you have plenty of names lined up, but this sort of silliness is what DGCR is made for. =)

how about the spectrum, fission, fusion, quark, supernova...
The ION is already pretty nuclear (at least the particle aspect), so I'd expect Quark to be a putter (perhaps also a Boson at some point), and Millennium has a firm grasp of the astronomical naming scheme. I do like spectrum, and fission and fusion, while nuclear, are more phenomenons than things, could work nicely for drivers.

First of all, only the first run of Vectors has domey examples. The subsequent runs all have a small to moderate dome. The Axis I'm told is less domey than even the new Vectors. It's still not completely flat like most Buzzzes.

So I'm kind of hoping it flies exactly like a comet. That way, when guys say that they can't throw it because it is "too flippy," I can literally say "oh, that's because you are putting off-Axis torque on it."
