Teerex?

I have a 175 star Teerex and its is in good shape except for one good chip on the edge and after seeing the flight numbers for the teerex (11,5,0,4) and comparing them with a 175 destroyer (12,5,-1,3), the teerex does not seem as or more overstable than the destroyer as the flight numbers would lead you to think. Are these numbers just wrong?

I think they are wrong. I don't throw Destroyers (anymore) but I do throw Teerex's and I've always felt the Destroyer was more over stable than the TR

I always thought the #s on a Teerex was misleading as well. But earlier runs were pretty OS, they changed the mold at some point.

I wont go into details, but the Teerex-X is the overstable one. And yes, they are more OS than a Destroyer.

ok well I must not have a teerex-x, if they changed the mold to a less overstable version they should have changed the name teerex-l?

I think *DS (current runs) are more overstable than the 12,5,-1,3 would lead you to believe. They are more OS than any Star XCal I've thrown.

I had a pre number Teerex that flew pretty overstable. It paired well with a Star Wraith. C-Line PDs took over the long and overstable shots.

The Wraith & Destroyer are very similar in flight #'s (speed 11 vs 12) but I find the Destroyer to be much more overstable. I appreciate the flight #'s but they aren't always exact.

I agree with this. Some will say the Destroyer is more "speed stable", but I've never met a Wraith that was a meathook while many Destroyers are.
